Successful Innovation Forum in Madrid Brings Together Startups and Corporations

The Innovation Forum RETECH Madrid recently took place in Tres Cantos, Madrid, bringing together startups, scaleups, and leading corporations in the Greentech, Health, and Aerospace sectors. The event aimed to encourage business collaboration and address real challenges in these strategic sectors through technological solutions.

Promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Organized as part of the Redes de Emprendimiento Digital project in the Madrid region, supported by the Digitalization Department, the forum aimed to strengthen the local ecosystem by supporting tech entrepreneurship and open innovation. The focus was on promoting startups with solutions for advancing towards a circular economy, digital health, and infrastructure decarbonization.

Sector Challenges and Recognized Startups

Throughout the event, 14 startups and scaleups showcased their innovative solutions to address challenges defined by participating companies such as Lenovo, Enagás, Naturgy, and Precision for Medicine. Notable winners included Circular in the Greentech sector, eB2 in Health, and 3Top Airtech in Aerospace.

Real Collaboration at the Core

The primary goal of the 2nd Innovation Forum was to create valuable connections between companies and startups, delve into the technological and commercial fit of presented solutions, and lay the groundwork for potential pilot projects and strategic collaborations. The event fostered a collaborative and interactive environment among all participants.

Continued Support for Winners

The winning startups will receive guided technical support to validate, pilot, or implement their solutions in real environments, enhancing their strategic positioning and collaboration opportunities. Additionally, all participating startups had the chance to present their projects to corporations facing real challenges, receive specialized feedback, and expand their network within Madrid’s innovative business ecosystem.

Strengthening Madrid’s Innovation Hub

The Innovation Forum is part of the Redes de Emprendimiento Digital project’s activities, which include acceleration and scaling programs, hackathons, investment forums, and sector-specific meetings to promote open innovation and connections between startups, companies, and investors. With this event, Madrid reinforces its position as a national and international hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship, driving technological transformation, ecological transition, and business competitiveness in the region.
