Vestimos de flamenca en Alcorcón para las ferias andaluzas

Finally, May arrives and the good weather begins to show. In Andalucía, the different fairs are being prepared, making it irrelevant where in Spain we are, as we all want to visit them and look our best.

That’s why today we visited Alegría Flamenca, a workshop and store in Alcorcón where they have the most modern and classic models of this fashion so deeply rooted in Andalusian culture, such as flamenco dresses.

Madrid, capital of flamenco fashion since September 26th

Rocío, the owner of the store, has guided us and shown us the day-to-day of Alegría Flamenca and how at this time of year, the workload increases as the women of Madrid come to the store to get the best models and look perfect for visiting the fairs in the south.

“We are overwhelmed with work”

But it doesn’t end there, Rocío has assured us that almost all orders for dresses for the Seville fair have been sold out.

The April Fair is also celebrated in Fuenlabrada

Alegría Flamenca is a store, but as we have detailed, it is also a workshop. This family business not only sells some of the most beautiful designs in the Community of Madrid, but also makes or repairs them.

If we are not preparing to visit some of the upcoming fairs in May, stopping by Alegría Flamenca could be the best option.

We can visit this workshop and store at Plaza de los Príncipes de España, local 8 in Alcorcón.
