Alcorcón is strengthening its action plan against illegal dumpsites as they pose environmental, economic, and health hazards for the municipality.
Task forces include DIRECTOR Citizen Security and Ecological Transition, Mobility, Education, and Environment, in collaboration with the public company Esmaasa.
Enhanced police surveillance and action at black spots will focus on prevention and raising awareness of the public safety and environmental risks associated with these illegal waste disposals.

Efforts will be made to clean up affected areas to prevent significant environmental damage.
In February, the municipal police have already conducted 8 interventions for illegal leaks, totaling 14 since the beginning of the year.
The deployment of a drone unit will enhance surveillance. Recently, a 300-kilogram debris dump was intercepted in Lucero Park due to one of the flights of this unit.
