
A 44-year-old van driver died on Saturday in a traffic accident on the M-506 in the municipality of Alcorcón, when the vehicle he was driving veered off the road, while his 59-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
The accident occurred around 5:50 pm and involved the van veering off the road and colliding with the side barriers of the road, according to Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
The driver was ejected, and the medical team from SUMMA 112 who arrived at the scene could only confirm his death due to the multiple injuries sustained.

The other man traveling in the van, 59 years old, had minor injuries and was taken by SUMMA 112 to the Hospital Fundación de Alcorcón.
The Alcorcón firefighters, Civil Protection, local police, and the Civil Guard also worked at the scene, with the Civil Guard investigating the incident.
